The Elephant by Camille Saint-Saëns (1835-1921)
Camille Saint-Saëns was a French composer of the Romantic era. “The Swan” is taken from the “Carnival of the Animals” (Le Carnaval des animaux), a light-hearted musical comedy of 14 moments. The suite was published in 1922, the year after his death.
