BWV 1004 Corrente by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)
Johann Sebastian Bach was a German composer, organist, harpsichordist, violist, and violinist whose sacred and secular works for choir, orchestra, and solo instruments drew together the strands of the Baroque period and brought it to its ultimate maturity.
Baroque Era. Violin Sonata No.3. 102 Measures. 7 Pages. 3/4 Time Signature. Key of C. Arranged by Alan Melvin. This piece is made up entirely of running 16th notes with the exception of a few 8th notes. In Bach’s manuscript, slurs were written across entire phrases. In this transcription the hammer-ons and pull-offs shown are only a minimal suggestion of this, and you are strongly encouraged to slur more.
