Malinconia from Sonata 2 (Opus 27 No 2) by Eugene Ysaye (Guitar Tab)

Malinconia Sonata 2 (Opus 27 No 2) by Eugene Ysaye (1858-1931)

Eugene Ysaye
Eugène-Auguste Ysaÿe (1858-1931) was a Belgian virtuoso violinist, composer, and conductor. The Sonata for Solo Violin, Op. 27, No. 2 “Jacques Thibaud” is a sonata in four movements from Six sonatas for solo violin. The Malinconia contrapuntally resembles the style of Bach, perhaps most of any of the movements of the second sonata. It employs the siciliano rhythm, found in the first solo sonata for violin by Bach.
