Lay y Egues by Ñico Rojas (1921-2008)
 Ñico Rojas was a prominent Cuban composer and guitarist, considered as one of the founders of a style of Cuban song called filin. José Antonio (Ñico) Rojas Beoto was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1921. A civil engineer, guitarist and composer, he is one of the exponents of the so-called ‘Feeling’ trend in Cuban music, which brought about a revival in Cuban popular song in the 1940s. |
