Invocacion a mi Madre by Agustin Barrios Mangore (1885-1944)
 When Barrios first arrived in Buenos Aires in 1910, he found employment playing for cinemas and theaters. An extended medley form based on folkloric melodies, Divagaciones Criollas (“Creole Wanderings”) was probably created as “filler music” to be played during intermissions and between acts. |
