Notes
Romantic. Etude. Key of Bb. 4/4 Time Signature. 2 pages. 22 measures. Taken from Czerny for Guitar by David Patterson.

1) One of the great benefits of this arrangement is that, because it uses no open strings, it can be transposed easily into many keys. Try it in multiple positions. It will feel quite different depending on where you play it on the fingerboard.
2) Come up with several dynamic schemes. Practice crescendos and decrescendos over varying lengths. Working dynamics into scale practice is very valuable
3) Try alternately accentling different fingers through the entire study. This is great practice for control and finger awareness.
4) Breathe! You should be breathing naturally as you play. This applies to all playing, by the way. Holding your breath is a sure sigh of tension.
